For centuries, sexuality was viewed almost exclusively from a male perspective. What the man wanted was considered normal. What the woman felt or needed was never asked about – or even dismissed as unimportant. This mindset has left deep marks.
The so-called patriarchy – a social structure in which men hold power – has also massively influenced women's sexual development. And not always for the better.
Women Weren't Allowed to Talk About Their Desire
In the past, it was considered improper for a woman to talk about sexuality. Even worse: if she expressed her own desires. Anyone who spoke about arousal, desire, or even dissatisfaction was often condemned.

Penis Size Was an Absolute Taboo Topic for Women
For a long time, it was practically "forbidden" for a woman to comment on her partner's penis size. Anyone who dared to was quickly labeled "easy" – or branded demanding, unfaithful, or even "loose."
What This Meant in Practice
- Women had to remain silent, even when dissatisfied
- Many suffered in silence – without ever being allowed to talk about it
- Men received no honest feedback and therefore had little chance to grow
Today, Openness Is a Sign of Strength
Fortunately, much has changed. Thanks to emancipation, education, and greater equality, women today can finally say what they feel – and what they're missing. Including in sex.
When a woman today openly talks about dissatisfaction with penis size, it isn't a sign of superficiality. It's a sign of honesty, trust, and self-respect.
