About Dott. Alessandro Perotti
Dott. Alessandro Perotti completed his degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2017 at the University of Turin, graduating with the top mark of 110/110. He completed his specialist training in urology at the University of Pisa, also with honors (110/110 con lode), with a particular focus on reconstructive urogenital and andrological surgery.
He additionally earned a Level II University Master's degree in Andrological Surgery and Gender Dysphoria (Chirurgia Andrologica e Disforia di Genere) from the University of Trieste.
Surgical Focus Areas
At the UGRS Center Darmstadt, his focus is on the surgical treatment of Peyronie's disease (Induratio Penis Plastica, IPP), including corporoplasty using the Nesbit or Yachia technique as well as the use of grafts made from oral mucosa or the patient's own vein.
Beyond this, his regular urological and andrological practice in Italy covers the surgical treatment of congenital and acquired penile curvature, the implantation of penile prostheses for treatment-resistant erectile dysfunction, microsurgical treatment of varicocele, as well as oncological and functional urology (prostate, kidney, bladder, testicles; benign prostatic hyperplasia; urinary incontinence; urethral strictures).
